This flight simulator controller offers Throttle, Mixture, Flaps and Trim Wheel controls for flight simulators.  The controller features push pull controls for throttle and mixture.  The Mixture also features True Vernier Controls, twist the knob for minor adjustments or press in the button and push/pull for larger adjustments. The throttle also features a locking nut, twist it to lock the throttle in place.  A momentary switch for flaps, push up to raise flaps one notch and push down to lower flaps one notch, the switch auto returns to center.  Also features an analog  trim wheel with 10 complete rotations for fine tuning during flight.  Includes a desktop mount.

  • No drivers are needed, calibrate in Windows and bind the controls in the sim.  Works in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020/2024 and X-Plane (Mac as well).  It should work with any game that uses a joystick/controller in Windows.   Does NOT work with Xbox or PS.

  • The controllers are 3D printed in mostly ABS, some nylon and PLA plastics and are hand made by me in the US, includes 10' USB Cable.

  • Dimensions: (Main Body) 12" Long, 6.5" Deep, 2" Tall (Trim section 5" Tall).

  • Free Shipping in the US and Includes a 1 year warranty.

For International orders price and shipping costs do not include import fees/VAT your country may charge at time of delivery.

Another note for international orders using DHL eCommerce Parcel Standard shipping method, this is definitely the most economical way to ship overseas but can take 2-4 weeks, give or take.

Works well

We are pleased with these units for our STEM Aviation training program. Only comment we have is we would suggest the trim wheel be a bit larger.

TPM is money

Loving the TPM so far. Plugged it in and followed the online instructions for calibration and configuring in MSFS 2024. Worked right away. It is so nice having controls that feel like the real Cessna thing! Shipping from FSS was super fast!!

Lots of potential

The on line video worked for me but the quality of results did not match. Still having issues with flaps and trim. Could be some additional things I need to do so have arranged for some support from a guy that started me out with the sim. Hopefully just needs breaking.

Hey Kenneth, if you are having issues getting the controller setup please get in touch with me and I can give some assistance in getting you up and running.

Cheers,
Shawn

Good but not perfect

The throttle, mixture, prop, flaps controls all work great. The trim wheel will spin until it gets to a point of slight resistance then makes a popping sound and keeps going. It also is very sensitive, might be something that can be tweaked in the software but the wheel does not spin very smooth like its rubbing on something and that popping noise bothers me so I just dont use it. If it wasn't for that issue I would give it 5 stars for the value but with the trim wheel not functioning smooth I give it 3 stars.

Hey Jesse, thanks for the review and feedback. The clicking noise you hear is the gear skipping once it reaches the limit of the potentiometer, this is by design, it is designed to flex the potentiometer mount and cause the gear to skip to protect the potentiometer from getting damaged. The trim wheel also is made to have some resistance when turning, so it does not spin loosely with no resistance. It should be a consistent resistance as you rotate it.

As far as it being too sensitive, if all is working as it should, it should not overly sensitive, could you try running through the Windows calibration again to be sure the entire range of the trim wheel is being used in the sim. Also, be sure you have the trim wheel bound properly in the sim as well, in MSFS it should be bound to Elevator Trim Axis ( -100 - 100% ). Check that AI auto trim is disabled in the sim too.

If you are still having issues please reach out to me and I will be happy to help you figure out what the issue may be, whether that is a config issue or if something is wrong with the controller itself. Be sure to check out the setup videos I have here on my website if you have not seen them already, just some quick videos on how to calibrate the controller and set the bindings in the sim etc.

Thanks!
Shawn

Great product and even better customer service

I'm very happy with the product. Would highly recommend it. Besides that, there was an issue with my delivery which was no fault of Flight Sim Stuff and yet Shawn was extremely helpful in sorting it out.

oh one more thing...

...I was disappointed that the center buttons on the prop and mixture levers didn't push in...but that is just nit-picking.

Works really good and gets the job done for a flight sim at a decent price. Identical to the cessna 172. Only issue with it is the clamp is not a steel clamp its a 3d printed one that isnt very durable. Half of the motion of the throttle doesnt do much and the flaps switch isnt very smooth, but not a deal breaker.

Hey there, if you ever have any issues with the clamp let me know and I can send you a new one, they are 3d printed with 100% infill/solid so are pretty durable and can easily withstand the force needed to securely hold the controller in place. If you really crank down on it well beyond what is needed then you could damage it. The throttle should be working in 100% of its range, if you are having issues be sure you run through the calibration in Windows, I have written and video instructions on my website on how to do this and/or contact me and I can help you get it setup.

Cheers,
Shawn

Top Notch Quality

Really good feel in the levers on the TPM and very sharp looking 3D print overall. Is truly excellent quality and that's nice to see these days. Connected up to my desktop computer without a hitch.

Truly wonderful product; slight gripe

This product is not only one of a kind in the market, but also an incredible tool that truly makes the flight simulator seamless to fly a Cessna unlike any other setup. My gripe however, is I believe mine came with a potentiometer issue. The 0% and 100% would not calibrate as an even 0-100 range no matter what I tried (roughly 2 hours of messing around) until finally it did [somewhat] but the only way I could get them to align was for one end of the throttle to be far less sensitive than the other which is annoying cause I have to feather the throttle between 600-1100 RPM or it jumps massively between these numbers. Again I can’t overstate how much I love the product, the idea of the product, and how it makes the simulator feel, anyone who wants to get a simulator for a Cessna setup there truly is no other option like it in terms of appearance, feel, and functionality. It’s just slightly frustrating for it to come with this issue.

Hey Luke, thank you for the generous review considering you are having some issues. Please get in touch with me and we can figure out what is going on as the issues you are describing are not typical. There should be a 5-10 minute calibration and sim setup and everything should then be working without issue.

Thanks,
Shawn

Review of TPM/Flaps/Trim module

I have had the module for about three weeks. It was essentially plug and play into X-Plane 13 and worked flawlessly with the other control systems I have installed. The components have ample fine tune settings and respond easily to operation. This module very closely reflects the operation of a 172/182 that I fly regularly. The design of the push controls are very good and I see years of performance from them. The trim wheel was a little more challenging to setup and I had to make sure the wheel was centered, spinning too far result in a shocking popping sound that was a little off putting at first but once it was setup seems to work extremely well. The flaps control works very well, the only change I could suggest in its design would be to remove the snap up/down and replace with a more true to form sliding control option as is common on the 172. That is of course a small recommendation and not a limitation of the module. Overall the module has performed above expectations and I look forward to years of use from it. I would purchase it again given the option.

I love this throttle quadrant

It's like the real cessna 206

Solid Cessna Part

The Cessna throttle and trim wheel was shipped quickly, was easy to set up, and most importantly it's solid. It doesn't feel like a flimsy easily breakable toy like some simulator parts and electronic interfaces do.

Building cessna 206 sim

Combined with the honeycomb yoke and thrustmaster TPRs (with dampner mod) - is an excellent training tool 🙂

Fast Delivery, easy setup.

Shipping was fast well packaged and protected for shipping. Good quality, nice feel, easy to setup in MSFS with printed directions and youtube links. So far everything works as promised. I am new to flight sim and want to use to supplement ppl traning. Wanted something with similar feel to 172 cockpit to better simulate actual controls.

Just what I was looking for

I am primarily fly G/A using the Cessna 172 for sightseeing, slow and low. I decided to add the TPM quadrant to my set, and I am glad that I did. I am still getting used to it, but the trim wheel has made a big difference in keeping things level, while throttle, mixture and flaps work as expected. I enjoyed the simplification of having clear controls for throttle, mixture and flaps. Easier than trying to remember which buttons on the joy stick or yoke to push. Setup was easy with the directions provided. I am using the TPM quadrant with MSFS 2024, MSFS 2020 and X-Plane 12. No problems getting it to work properly with each simulator. I am very happy with this purchase.

Controls feel great! Trim wheel upgrade feels good, barely any delay when using. TPM feel solid. Even though it’s a 3d printed controller, it still feels great.

Excellent. Exactly like Cessna 152

TPM, Flaps and Trim Controller is really good and feels identical to C152. One small suggestion for improvement: Desktop Mount was not strong enough and it moves when my leg hits it moving rudders and its tip broke when it fell down. I replaced it with small metal mount and its fine.

Hey Limnesh, I am sorry with the trouble with the clamp, contact me and I will send you a new one.

Cheers,
Shawn

Throttle Quadrant Exceeded Expectations

I never liked using the flight stick buttons for trim but I decided to get a hardware quadrant after the engine died on final due to mixture being too lean. I had forgotten to enrich during descent and couldn’t get the view on the mixture knob in time to push it in. The quadrant works beautifully and the quality really exceeded my expectations.

The only problem I have had, and this isn’t the quadrants fault, is on a plane that use a lot of trim in autopilot mode. The simulator can’t move my wheel so coming off of the autopilot leaves the trim way out of whack. Not a big issue and I am extremely happy with the purchase.
